Soroptimist International of Raleigh invites Triangle-area guests to join in their 2023 annual awards (making for year seventeen of the program) and luncheon featuring guest speaker Chasta Hamilton, founder of Girls Geared For Greatness.
Five Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award recipients will be recognized at the event, an opportunity for attendees to honor women who have overcome obstacles in their lives.
This year, Soroptimist is featuring Chasta Hamilton, Founder/ CEO of Stage Door Dance Productions and Founder/ President of the non-profit, Girls Geared For Greatness. She’s also a best-selling author (Trash The Trophies and Handle the Horrible) and speaker (TEDx: You Weren’t Built to Break).
The Soroptimist Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards for Women program is the group’s signature service project. The awards are designed to give women heads of households, who are the primary source of financial support for their families, the opportunity to achieve their career goals and live their dreams.
This event takes place 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, and is being held at the University Club, 3100 Tower Blvd #1700 Durham, NC 27707.
